Colin got started with knife sharpening at a young age, driven by his love for the outdoors and the culinary arts. He graduated at the top of his class from Ashburton Culinary School in the United Kingdom in the summer of 2024. Before pursuing culinary school, he worked as a Teamster on Hawai‘i-based film projects.
After graduating, he was brought on as a chef de partie at a British-themed fine dining restaurant in Honolulu. Needing his blades sharp at all times in a fast-paced kitchen, he began honing his sharpening skills even further.
In his free time, Colin can be found hunting in the mountains with friends, traversing the waters for Tako to grill, or making delectable treats for his family—sharp knives are a must for it all. He proudly calls Kāneʻohe home.
